DN2000 pipe repair coupling supplied for urgent pipeline repair
VIPSeal supplied a DN2000 pipe repair coupling for an urgent large diameter pipeline repair project in Germany.
The contractor needed a fast external sealing solution for a large diameter pipe repair. Due to the size of the pipe and the urgency of the work, an off-the-shelf product was not suitable. VIPSeal manufactured a custom VLC2000 Standard Large Coupling at its UK facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
The coupling used a bespoke extrusion profile and stainless steel tension and shear bands to support the repair requirement. Once manufactured, the full assembly was packed and shipped by next-day express delivery direct to site.
This fast response allowed the contractor to receive and install the DN2000 pipe repair coupling within 24 hours of the initial enquiry. The project shows how VIPSeal can support urgent large diameter pipe repair applications where timing, product size and reliable sealing performance are critical.

In less than 24 hours the contractor had received and installed the VLC2000 allowing for completion of the project.
