With what seemed like a never ending deluge of rain at the beginning of the week and over the weekend, things weren’t looking hopeful for the Forge Trade Day.
To put it into context – the main route from our offices to Forge was down the A421 in Bedford, that had been shut due to major flooding over the weekend, with rain still falling.
Prior to the Trade Day on the 3rd October, we made the journey to make a few little tweaks to the display and deliver some of the samples.
A new rear graphic was added to give the stand a more finished appearance as you walk through the main entrance at Forge.
For new customers or existing customers looking to expand the range we offer a number of “Stock Profile” packages to suit your business requirements.
The day of the event was here and the sky was blue, Callum got there early to set up and a decision was made not to bother fighting with the Gazebo which was bought along “just in case”.
With the stand set up we had a range of products, some of which are already stocked at Forge along with a number of additional products not seen by Forge customers, such as the VIPSeal Chem range, Twinwall Saddle and the VPSD Impact Wall Seals.
With an amazing food van parked up for the afternoon, and a decent number of trades people passing by, it was a great afternoon in the sun with some fun conversations had.
There was also a chance for one lucky person to take home a £100 shopping voucher courtesy of VIPSeal, on the day.
