A Fresh Start to the Summer: Our First Trade Morning at Graham the Plumbers Merchants in Manchester
As the warmer weather arrives, there’s no better way to kick off the summer than getting the sales team out there and supporting our customers with Trade Days and Breakfast Mornings.
A Warm Welcome to All
On June 4th, we had the pleasure of being invited to the first Trade Morning of the year at Graham the Plumbers Merchants in Manchester, and what a great morning it was.
An early start for our Northern Area Sales Manager John Atkinson, ready and eager for the morning ahead.
Graham the Plumbers’ Merchants Manchester opened their doors, ready to welcome their valued customers and local tradespeople. The kettle was boiled (well the hot drinks machine was turned on) and the Burger Van was on standby for the breakfast baps, to make sure their customers were fueled for their busy days ahead.
Why Trade Mornings Matter
These Trade Mornings are more than just a chance to show off our range of Flexible Drainage and Plumbing couplings and adaptors; they represent a commitment by VIP-Polymers and the VIPSeal brand to support our customers from a branch level and help increase sales of the products with the addition of training and helping them understand the product and the benefits over alternative options. These events also allow us to get valuable feedback from the front line on what the Merchants need from us and feedback from the people using our products which helps us understand and develop new methods of supporting the merchants and the tradespeople.
Special Highlights
One of the highlights of the trade morning was getting to speak to the tradespeople that use the product and get their positive feedback about the range and how it has become a staple product in their vans not just for planned works but also for emergency repairs to damaged pipes and drainage applications. It was also great to speak to those that weren’t aware of our offerings and how they could benefit them in their line of work.
Looking Ahead: More to Come in 2024
The success of this first Trade Morning has set a positive tone for the year ahead. We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting more Breakfast Mornings, Technical Events, Demo Days and more over the summer, all of which will be focused not only on the training of the sales staff but also selling the benefits of the VIPSeal products to the Tradespeople
